IPH in Valencia, Spain (Spring 2005)

In Spring 2005 FSU students along with IPH Professor Eugene Crook were in Valencia, Spain as part of the FSU Broad Curriculum Program.

Students from Florida State University study at the campus of Universidad Politécnica directly adjacent to the 500-year-old University of Valencia. The students, immersed in a vibrant and rich cultural setting, learn basic liberal studies with courses focusing on Hispanic culture, and an Intensive Spanish track. The Spanish college setting is ideal for language study and practice. Business, music, and humanities courses are also offered. Both local and more distant travel opportunities relate in critical ways to academic study. The courses allow for explorations of other cities of interest such as Madrid, Toledo and Segovia.
