A.I.R. - Association for Interdisciplinary Research
AIR members, friends, and Spencer Tunick (center)
The Association for Interdisciplinary Research, or AIR, is an
organization for undergraduate and graduate students at FSU
committed to interdisciplinary research.
Interdisciplinarians contend that there is no one way to approach a
given question by acknowledging a multiplicity of contexts and cultures.
AIR both identifies boundaries and bridges gaps between academic research,
fine art, performance, and our everyday lives.
While emphasizing a cultural studies approach to theory and practice,
AIR supports all forms of research from the physical and social sciences
to fine art and performance.
The members of AIR learn from each other with the hope of becoming
better scholars, artists, and activists.
