Dr. Maricarmen Martinez is a specialist in Modern Cultures. She studies the relationship of modernity to the printing press and media. She holds an M.Lit in Analytic Pilosophy and a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Humanities. She wrote the mission goals and objectives of the DIH.

Dr. Kathryn B. Stoddard received her Ph. D. in Classics from the University of Virginia in 2000. She specializes in Archaic Greek poetry, especially the works of Hesiod and Homer. She has published articles on Hesiod, Solon, and Lucretius, and is interested in Greek Tragedy. Her recent book is entitled "The Narrative Voice in the Theogony of Hesiod."

Dr. François Dupuigrenet Desroussilles was for two decades the rare book curator in the Bibliothèque Nationale, one of the world's finest collections of manuscripts and early printed books, where he organized such exhibitions as "God's Kingdom. The Bible in France from Saint Louis to the Revolution." A specialist in the literary and visual cultures of France and Italy, he taught for many years the history of the book and the history of comunication in the universities of Geneva, Lugano and Lyon while directing the French national school as chief librarian.
