Honors Thesis
Will Romine shows his enthusiasm at the Spring 2006 commencement. Will
successfully defended his honors-in-the-major thesis entitled "Sergei
M. Eisenstein: The Artist Made Greater Through Propaganda" and
graduated with honors on May 28, 2006. His major professor, Dr. Maricarmen
Martinez, Assistant Director of IPH, and his committee members, Dr.
Robert Romanchuk and Dr. Will Moore celebrate his achievements.
Will Romine will soon leave for Krgyzstan where he will spend the next
two years teaching English as a Peace Corps volunteer.

The Interdisciplinary Program in the Humanities granted four outstanding
teaching assistant awards this year.
The awardees are:
Katheryn Wright...The David Darst Teaching Award
Chris Visonhaler...The Leon Golden Teaching Award
Rachel Cocciolo...The Eugene Crook Teaching Award
Valerie Baumeister...The Andrew Wilson Teaching Award
