Requirements for a Minor in Humanities

General Requirements
Please review all college-wide degree requirements in the "College of Arts and Sciences" chapter of the current General Bulletin.

Course Requirements
Courses taken to meet the humanities minor are not applicable to any other requirement. All course work counted toward the humanities must be completed with a "C-" grade or higher. The undergraduate minor may be accomplished in one of the two following ways:

Twelve (12) semester hours in courses with a HUM prefix;
OR
Fifteen (15) semester hours of courses specified by the humanities program.

These fifteen hours are divided as six (6) semester hours in one department and nine (9) semester hours in a second department. At least six (6) of these fifteen (15) semester hours must be earned in courses numbered above 2999.
